Telehealth and Telephone Appointments
The Government implemented changes to Medicare funded telephone consultations put in place due to COVID -19 on 1st October.
Telephone consultations for patients that are not pension card holders or a child aged 15 yrs and under will now incur the normal consultation fee:

We require patients to pay for their consultation in full on the day of their visit. For most consultations the rebate can then be claimed through the Medicare Easy Claim System.
These changes will take effect from 1st November 2020.
